Beautiful Handmade Lace Washi Ornaments

Beautiful Handmade Lace Washi Ornaments

by LWW on May 23, 2012

Chiaki Morita formally trained in washi paper making at the Joshibi University of Art and Design in Tokyo, but the passion runs deep – her beautiful Lace Washi Ornaments are the result of a lifetime of interest in the traditional Japanese paper arts.

These white paper ornaments are perfect for use as modern doilies, as natural window clings, or any number of creative applications. Airy fibers ensure the ornaments look weightless without sacrificing durability.

We think they are gorgeous, but we would love to hear your take on Chiaki Morita’s Lace Washi Ornaments in the comment section below.
