NORM Architects has created the perfect home for an art collector.
The Copenhagen Penthouse utilizes inspiring architectural details to minimize the need for furnishings and fixtures. The result is a minimalist, modern interior design allowed to reach its full potential.
Elegant elongated African sculptures make a recurring appearance, gracing surfaces and tucked away in brightly lit niches in the walls. The only visible objects provide both a functional and aesthetic appeal – the beauty of each carefully chosen item easily shines through the uncluttered visual plane.
Most of the furniture floats, a space-saving detail we definitely admire. We love the hollow bedside tables and the striking built-in computer desk. The fresh white interior takes fantastic advantage of the spare Copenhagen sun, and a lack of bulky furnishings eliminates unwanted shadows.
This home may look utilitarian but the emphasis is on comfort. All of the custom lighting is equipped with dimmer controls so that residents can create an intimate atmosphere any time they want.
The Copenhagen Penthouse is inviting, creative, and most importantly – full of plenty of white interior design inspiration!

Although this is lacking a little bit of color and fun and may not be my ideal living situation, i have to say this is absolutely beautiful! So clean and crisp, the small black accents makes this room look surreal. so beautiful, German design is insane! love this post, great inspiration to try something new :)
