Malpartida House in Sevilla Spain

Malpartida House in Sevilla Spain

by LWW on November 4, 2013

While elegantly beveled windows with playful placement are a signature characteristic of the SV60 Arquitectos repertoire, the Malpartida House adds variation to their highly successful portfolio as their ultra-modernist edge takes on a distinctively classic quality.

The Malpartida House blends local aesthetic traditions with contemporary interior design ideals, timeless and fascinating. Tiles, columns, arches, an expansive white interior with huge voids and plenty of light both natural and indirect, everything comes together so seamlessly.

Unique elements abound. The stairs are a fun take on the classic spiral design, creating a nice optical illusion with the help from carefully placed windows. Bold grills spice up doorways and windows. Those Spanish/Moorish tiles are swoon-worthy.

Passionate architecture and refined white design inside and out – there’s nothing not to love.
