Perke an Artful House in Belgium

Perke an Artful House in Belgium

The Perke House is a creative dwelling full of surprises and possibility, perfect for cultivating inspiration for your next white design project.

Despite the bright interior and gigantic windows, this home is surprisingly intimate for being such a clean and tidy modern design. AABE ensured privacy with clever patio walls while allowing for a generous view of nearby treetops and the upper garden.

The decor embodies strength and femininity, making fine use of exaggerated curves and deep passionate colors. We love the red chair paired with striking photography by Renaud Delorme in the living area, a clever use of contrast in a space dominated by neutral colors and heavy texture. The office takes this palette and adds chocolate – so relaxing and classic, surely a great place to get some work done.

We really like execution; form and function have never come together so neatly. The Perke House is worth a second look – small details, such as the linear arrangement of the stove burners, are where this home derives a great deal of its charm.
