Simply Inspiring Roosendale Residence

Simply Inspiring Roosendale Residence

Decked out in a smooth charcoal and white interior and with decor elements kept to a minimum, the Roosendale Residence takes simplicity to an inspiring level. We love how Ooomen Architecten used materials, lines, and proportion to make such a powerful statement – you could definitely consider this a purist approach to modern design.

Our favorite space in this contemporary residence is the living room – it consists of two distinct areas, a soft white and gray social seating area and cozy leather-and-calfskin spot for fireplace gazing. The dried branches add a nice organic touch without imposing on the monochromatic color scheme. In the next room, dark wood divides the seating from preparation areas. These two rooms alone should give plenty of ideas about how to separate functional spaces while maintaining a sense of cohesion.

We like the neutral palette because it lets the fantastic furnishings speak – but if you had to choose an accent color to add to the Roosendale Residence, which would you choose? Share your creative ideas below!
