This beautiful modern apartment is located in Malmö, Sweden and really takes advantage of the ample sunlight supplied by all the large windows. Though the apartment is small, white space is used judiciously in conjunction with clean simple lines to create an open and deceivingly spacious appearance.

The apartment showcases uncluttered contemporary space that is defined by touches of color including deep chocolate browns and crisp black accents. A large organic rug covers the painted white floor, almost looking like a drop of spilled coffee. The kitchen is displays outstanding creative design using the contrast of childlike neon sink backing with the recurring white interior to take some relief from the intentionally stark surroundings. We like the fact that this designer interior takes a minimalist approach and eliminates many handle fixtures, but implements decorative beaded strings to open wardrobes and closets.

This Swedish White Interior has a clean design and utilizes only the most essential furnishings for an uncomplicated but oh-so-sophisticated look and feel.

The white interior design of Renny Ramakers beautiful Amsterdam home flawlessly utilizes every inch of this astounding light-flooded expanse of space. Silver poles and beams are the only hint at this building’s age, giving a classic touch to this otherwise contemporary space.

Book lined shelves are a recurring theme giving the impression that this home just happens to be built inside of a library. Numerous shelves enclose a small interior kitchen that interrupts pale hardwood with a funky bright green floor, tinting stainless steel cupboards and appliances with its reflection.

The expansive living area playfully contrasts abundant white space with a cleverly placed bright orange upholstered chair. Colorful green tiles adorn window spaces, seeming to reflect the lush plants outdoors. The dining room consists of an understated solid wood dining table, but the nearby hearth makes a bold statement of modern sensibility by displaying the fireplace and firewood in an exceptionally unique way- attractively simple without the need for accessory.

Judicious use of creative design was applied to this contemporary space in order to keep the clean white designer interior from becoming overwhelming. Homey objects are scattered about on the numerous surface areas creating a sense of life without being cluttered.

We love how the furniture displays minimalistic tendencies though the rest of this White Interior is well accessorized with eye catching art, unique objects, and some original Droog designs.

The Ruis-Maasburg Penthouse is a space that could not have been completed under any other circumstances. Spanish architect Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez was given the task to turn this 650 sq.ft. attic into a livable apartment- a rather formidable task. The result turned out to be one of the best examples of white living that we have seen for a while!

Ample white space is accented with rich black details to enhance depth, while the unique curvaceous walls and ceiling use classic theatre techniques of forced perspective to turn this otherwise cramped area into a spacious-looking contemporary interior. Billowing curtains are used judiciously to create divisions of space, even hung over windows to offset their admittedly small size. Although white design is the main focus of the entire space, there are enough soothing shadows to soften any edge.

This white home takes advantage of a large terrace to create a spacious outdoor/indoor living area- complete with a luxurious partially enclosed day bed for dreaming or relaxing. Green plants and potted flowers are used in various rooms to keep this natural connection going.

This White Penthouse may go against every preconceived notion about how a small space should look, but it definitely does not break any rules of great modern design.

This private white house located in Tinos, Greece was designed by Zege architects paying every amount of respect to the surrounding architecture of the area. This stunning white space is the vacation home of its brilliant interior designer, Marilyn Katsaris.

The soft edges and brilliant natural tones create a sense of serenity as you pass easily from one area of this white home to the next. The carefree attitude that white living represents is boldly declared by the lack of hiding places. Minimalistic niches are built into the wall to stow away objects, and beautiful thick shelves hold dishes and ornaments.

This contemporary interior differs from the traditionally modern view of white design. Instead of hard edges and fluorescent brilliance, this home makes the best of soft textures and serene naturally diffused light. Classic comfort and a sense of history are created by rich, traditional ornamentation used only sparingly.

The Private White House itself is truly a work of art and stands alone as a piece worthy of admiration.

This apartment in Linnestaden, Sweden is located in a building that is over 100 years old—but you’d never be able to tell by the graceful modern interior that takes white design in a fresh new direction.

The muted creamy tones of the walls make the white furniture, fixtures, and frames dramatically “pop” with contrast. Abundant white space is occasionally punctuated by chrome details and black accents. Solid oak floors maintain a warm atmosphere within a stylish monochromatic white interior with rich yellows and golden brown hues. Delicate geometric lights add spatial dimension to the high ceilings with enchanting glowing orbs.

This Swedish apartment is modern without being industrial; colorful yet still very white. Nothing in this home seems to be ridged or forced because utility is never compromised. Everything is bright without being minimalistic or cut-and-dry.

The Kar’s White Hotel in unforgettable Turkey is a boutique hotel with the heart of an intimate bed and breakfast. Featuring just five rooms and three suites, this wonderful white hotel will sweep you back to ages gone by despite being a modern white hotel with all the amenities of the most luxurious homes.

The Kar’s Hotel has a stone façade that contrasts dramatically with the side courtyard, where a deep wooden balcony is trimmed with elaborate gingerbread trim. The rooms are small but beautifully furnished with goose down comforters and softly colored drapes framing dramatic windows soaring to high ceilings. The white interior of each room has built in light sconces to visually expand rooms completed with white furnishings and spare lines. Each white space is grounded with carpeting in soft, muted shades that enhance the serene atmosphere. A few more touches of pale color on the bed or in the stone fireplaces add just enough depth to these lovely white rooms.

Whether you want to book a room or simply enjoy the many fine photos, the Kar’s White Hotel is a Turkish Delight.

We fell for this Swedish white apartment for several reasons, but what captured our imagination the most was the inherent ease with which it seems to come together. Though carefully crafted, this modern apartment seems to have effortlessly evolved as the owners added personal pieces to the predominantly white space, creating a space that reflects everything desirable in budget design.

White walls are a clean background for unusual touches throughout the home. A charming balance between old and new can be seen everywhere. The heavily carved, antique Victorian sofa’s velvet, tufted upholsters contrasts sharply with the modern, white coffee table, and sleek white kitchen cabinets sparkle beneath the light of a vintage crystal chandelier.

Warmth and personality are found in worn wood floors, stacks of books, and a collection of vintage frames that are art in their own right. A very well designed White Apartment on a budget.

One the things I truly enjoy most is getting an intimate peak at the interior design of an architect’s abode – always a treat! This white Apartment in Reykjavik is a great example, it’s designed and inhabited by Gudmundur Jonsson.

The entire space is only 560 sq. ft. but the all white interior design makes the apartment appear so roomy. Great use of lighting and reflective surfaces to open up the spaces. The addition of a very unique and modern Juliette balcony is quite amazing! The small dabs of contrasting color like the kitchen counter and the flooring ground you in an otherwise all white space. For some, this architects house might be a little too white. I think this is a great monochromatic design – plus it’s in Iceland!

The interior design of this White Flat in New York is crisp and impeccable. The 3400 sq. ft. modern home is designed with exquisite taste and appreciation for modern furniture. From the custom Bocci Chandelier in the living room to the Uglydolls in the kids room, all the pieces are carefully selected for this fabulous white space. Renato and Margarida recently sent us some beautiful images of their newly renovated 1850s white flat located in Lisbon Portugal. They did all the apartment renovations themselves and the results are nothing short of stunning!

The showstoppers in their white apartment are the antique pieces of furniture. You can’t help but admire their charm against the serene white backdrop. The couple’s accessories add so much personality throughout their white space. Their use of color in the main living space is spot on and poppin’ with playfulness. There’s ample storage throughout the home to keep all their goodies out of mind and sight.

Oh so jealous of that turquoise antique fireplace and what a great view from their bathroom window! Simple living in Lisbon doesn’t get any better than this.
