The Malibu Beach House looks anything but staged – this residence is cozy, simple, and looks wonderfully livable. From subtle steel details to the incredible monochromatic palette, the composition of this heavenly beachside retreat gives off an air of understated decadence with a casual bachelor attitude.
The white modern interior is bright and clean with ample sunlight to illuminate the soft textures, casting shadows across the tiled floor and tufted leather furnishings to add depth and visual interest to otherwise smooth surfaces. The Barcelona daybed is an extremely innovative touch – the pillow has been removed to transform the piece into a functional and spacious coffee table / ottoman. The dining area is just as ingenious; a unique glass a-frame table and semitransparent chairs look nearly invisible against the white interior, effectively making the most of a very small space.
How do you feel about the Malibu Beach House? Would you splash some color on those walls, or are you just as in love with the white as we are?
